The early voting line was a little long but moved quickly. Everyone working there was friendly and the whole process was easy. Thanks!

Absolutely worthless. My wife and I have called 20 times in the last week and have had zero phone calls answered.
Our ballots are now 3 weeks late and still have not been mailed after being requested in late August.
What an absolute embarrassment to our County and to Ohio.
We helped my grandmother get her mail in ballot in FL, the process took a 2 minute phone call and her ballot was at her house in 3 days from that phone call.
Summit is really pathetic at how embarrassing they have handled distributing their absentee ballots.
Absolutely night and day between Ohio and Florida in how simple and easy it is to vote. We should all be embarrassed at how archaic our system is in Ohio.

We have been waiting for our return since March. Calling this number is just the same as calling the national 1-800 number. It gets you nowhere. All it tells you is that your refund is processing and you will be given a date when it is available. Thanks, you’ve been telling me this since April. I’m glad you’re taking care of the unemployed; now how about taking care of those of us working who just want our refunds?

I filed my taxes February 25. To date, I haven’t received anything. Last year, I never received my state. Year before that, did not get my taxes until August. Never had this problem like this when I lived in NJ.

I had questions about my name change while I was turning documents in at the podium. The woman whose desk is about 15’ directly back from the podium was insanely rude. I was attempting to ask simple questions to ensure I had all of the paperwork I needed, LegalZoom said I needed specific documents, and when I called the probate court they said I needed additional documents. Her answers were repeatedly “did you call? Did you call?” She said they can’t answer any of my questions, which if I call on the phone and can answer my questions, why can’t you answer if i am in front of you? I said I needed to know how much the check needed to be written out for as I don’t recall hearing the number on the phone and she then responded “did you call?” Another guy to the right of the podium finally answered that question for me. That woman is a joke, no wonder government jobs are made fun of so consistently for being a joke.

I would warn anyone who would think they could call in and have someone help with their questions… I tried doing so today and the woman on the other line was so very quick to be rude and berating… I said “You know what, nevermind. Have a nice day.” And hung up the phone.
The office is open as long as you wear a mask and they take you temperature. I apologize to the kind people who work there for my low review, but perhaps it will influence whom they let answer the phones… her bad attitude was completely unnecessary. I sped up to the office and handled my affairs, but I just wanted to ask a few harmless questions.
Kindness counts! Sadly, you can expect it from everyone.

These are, for the most part, the most unhelpful human beings on the planet. They only have one answer–get a lawyer. Most of the forms should be easy enough to fill out , but you still need a lawyer to put the answers on the form. I asked what form I need to fill out to do something. Someone told me 15 forms and I need a lawyer. I only needed one form along with another piece of information to submit. The rest of the forms are done by the court after the case was started. I asked what form I needed to cancel something. The answer–We don’t have a form for that, get a lawyer. If I could give them 0 stars, I would.

Staff was incredibly helpful, directive and precise. We called several times and they answered every time. There was a GOOGLE issue with the pin which has been corrected. Please use these pictures to help identify the correct building. I also attempted to move the pin to help the situation. Congratulations and good luck to all!!!

After reading all of the one stars, I called the place and guess what?! They answered on the second ring! Here I’m thinking I would have to go through a menu. Nope! He even answered my question in a polite manner. Great job!!!!

This is by far the worst court system I have ever had to deal with. Apparently their files are STILL kept in paper form and they CLEARLY easily lose pieces of said files. I paid off a fine from NINE years ago and just received a collection letter demanding payment in full. I called the court and they have “no record” of my community service. The first lady I talked to kept talking over me, was very rude, and would not let me speak, I asked her, “can I talk? I let you talk and listened to you.” She told me not to “yell at her”? So I raised my voice and stated, “THIS IS YELLING! Do you see the difference?” She hung up on me. I called back and although the second person was much more courteous, they are still telling me I never did my community service. Apparently, I now need an attorney for something I thought I handled legally almost a decade ago. What a joke.

Awful that they don’t even deserve the one star review but I have no other choice. Every single employee has been so unfriendly and rude here. They all act as if they have absolutely no interest in helping people nor even working their job. Seriously, this is the worst court in the whole state of Ohio and if you have to deal with this one, I whole sincerely apologize because you’re most likely going to have a terrible experience. This place will never get change or improve. Absolutely despicable, pray/wish/hope you never have to come here.

Good luck if you have Magistrate Diane Dougherty for anything. My ex wife and I do not get along by any means but even she walked out the meeting telling me she was sorry for how I was treated. Dougherty is the epitome of what is wrong with the court system. Before we even entered the meeting she decided that I was a man and I was in the wrong, even put that in black in white in my separation agreement so I could see it forever. I was disrespected and talked to like a child. By far the WORST Magistrate that summit county has!
